Call duck colors. Birds suitable for major competitions but may or may not reproduce. Using only these breeds we have gotten multiple different colors. We have gotten a neat lilac color female and also black bibbed males from their stock of blue fawn chocolate bibbed whites crested and butterscotch.

It is a complicated color to breed and show but a hen with good color really stands out from the crowd at the shows. Most probably they are direct descendants of the wild mallard originating in holland.
